Wellbeing in Schools
"Jane focused on possible causes of stress; looking at strategies that help young people to manage their mental health. The lessons have been interactive with a mixture of input, discussion, group activity, reflection and Mindfulness. The children engaged really well in the lessons & enjoyed the opportunity to share, discuss and reflect on their own emotions”.
Veronique Giddens, Deputy Head
Ferndown Middle School
I work in partnership with schools to really embed a culture of wellbeing, both for pupils and staff; ensuring it truly resonates throughout the entire school community and it becomes part of their DNA.
I believe in creating a whole-school approach towards wellbeing, and in today’s ever-changing and demanding world, I understand it is important to equip young people with the life-skills they need to embark on a successful future, and for staff the need for work-life balance and the opportunities for developing personal growth.
I tackle real issues; stress, exam nerves, behaviour, and motivation to name but a few and provide on the ground solutions to help enhance the resilience, performance and personal growth of both staff and pupils; making a real difference by using wellbeing techniques and preventative strategies.
